District 27 serves more than 4,400 members among its 119 active clubs. Our members live and work in Southern Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. The district is one of eight Districts in Region 7 and one of 98 global districts that make up Toastmasters International.
District 27 boundaries are defined as the southwest and southeast quadrants of the District of Columbia; the part of Virginia inside the Washington Beltway (I-495); the part of Prince George’s County south of the District 36 line; and Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s counties in Southern Maryland.
The district has a variety of clubs from which to choose. Most are during office hours and many of those are during the lunch hour. Other clubs cater to members who are more experienced or who achieved Distinguished Toastmaster status. Others club come together around a common focus, such as one club who meets at a different restaurant each month combining the desire to be better speakers with the love of food.
We have a club for you. So join us today.
